  • Middle School: 8:45–3:45 (Wed 8:45–2:10)

  • High School: 8:45–3:45 (Wed 8:45–2:20)

Before & Aftercare

Our before & aftercare programs begin on the first day of school. 

Before Care (free for K-8, see Ms. Haviva for PreK before care rates):

8:15–8:45am

  • PreK: classroom 

  • K–4: gym 

  • Middle School: early arrivals → gym

Aftercare ($10/hr)

  • K: M/T/Th/F 3–5:30 | Wed 2–5

  • Grades 1–6: M/T/Th/F 3:30–5:30 | Wed 2–5

  • Grades 7-8: Limited; please contact us

  • Our FACTS Family Portal is a private and secure parents’ portal that allows you to view your child’s grades and attendance records, pay tuition and incidental fees, and complete the annual re-enrollment process.

    Access FACTS by going to https://factsmgt.com/ and create an account if you have not already. When doing so, you will need to know the Odyssey District Code which is OCS-NC.

    If you have further questions regarding FACTS, our administration is available to help resolve questions or concerns. For assistance with FACTS, please call the Odyssey office at 828-259-3653 or email us at elesley@odysseycommunity.org.

  • We’ve found an easy and simple way to log your hours using a web-based database called Track It Forward. Creating a username and logging your hours are intuitive and easy, but below you will find a step-by-step guide on how to use Track It Forward.

     

    How To Register

    1.     Go to http://www.trackitforward.com/site/odyssey-community-school to sign in or create new account.

    2.     Click “Sign Up” to create a new account. Document your username and password to Login later.

    3.     You may now log your hours on the Track It Forward website 

    4.     Enter hours, date volunteered, and the activity name that best fits. If you do not see the activity listed, simply select “Other” and enter your activities in the “Notes” section below. 

    5.     Click “Submit”.

    Hours not served will be billed at $10 per hour. Outstanding hours will be invoiced in January and May.

We have partnered with Sage and Spice Catering for our Monday through Friday meals. We’ve heard your feedback and are excited to move toward menu of local, fresh, and delicious items.

Sage and Spice provides a rotating daily menu. Both a Regular and a Vegan option are available every single day. Choose between a Regular size for $8 or a Large size for $9. If you want to see the menu, and already have an EZ School account login, CLICK HERE, otherwise, follow the directions below:

How to Get Started: EZ School Apps

We have already set up your accounts and linked them to your students to make the transition as easy as possible! Please follow these steps to finalize your setup and start ordering:

Set Your Password: Go to https://www.ezschoolapps.com/login/parent/ and click on Forgot Password (pp. 1-2). Enter the email address where you received this message to receive a password reset link (p. 2).

Add Payment Method: Once logged in, click on the Credit Card tab on the left menu to securely add your payment information.

Notes about Ordering Lunch

Place Your Pre-Order: Click on Purchase Preorder to view the upcoming menu (p. 4). Select your child’s meals by clicking the button next to your choice.

Crucial Step: You must click Save/Pay at the bottom to submit the order. Your selections will turn blue on the calendar once successfully placed.

Ordering Deadline: All orders must be placed by the Wednesday before the following week’s delivery.

Billing: Charges on your bank statement will appear as “EZ School Apps,” “EZ School Lunch,” or “EZ School Payment.”

Parent - School Systems

  • Our school has an emergency notification and rapid alert system to help improve and facilitate communication with our families. Parent Alert will allow us to send out communications via Text, Email, and Voice Messages for all types of events, including unexpected school closures and emergency situations. To ensure you are able to receive our alerts please text the keyword “START” to 22-383 from your mobile device. Any text alerts from our school will begin with Odyssey and calls will show from 828-259-3653.


    If you have further questions, or need assistance setting up the Parent Alert on your phone, administration is available to connect and help resolve questions or concerns. In order to schedule time with an administrator, please call the Odyssey office at 828-259-3653 or email us at elesley@odysseycommunity.org.

  • Remind provides a safe way for teachers to text message students and stay in touch with parents. Teachers never see the students’ or parents’ phone number and likewise, the teacher’s phone number is never revealed to students or parents. Students and parents can use Remind with cell phones or by email. You should have already received an invitation.
