PreK Newsletter

This week, we had so much fun celebrating young children, and honoring early learning, through themed daily activities! We focused on working together—listening to each other’s ideas, collaborating, and respecting different perspectives. The children sang, danced, and even created their own original play, supporting early literacy in a joyful and meaningful way.

We also explored open-ended art projects that encouraged creativity and self-expression. Today, we took our reading outdoors and created a cozy space to enjoy books while connecting with nature. It was such a special and peaceful experience. We also celebrated Del’s 5th birthday today! Lindsey, his mom, joined us to read a beautiful book; There’s a Hole in the Log on the Bottom of the Lake ,and we enjoyed a special treat together—thank you for sharing this moment with us! Thank you so much for signing up for conferences—we are looking forward to sharing all the wonderful growth your children have demonstrated this semester. A friendly reminder to vote for us in Best Of WNC 2026.

There is still time to vote for Best School (Precollege), After-School Program, Preschool, Day Camp, Music Teacher - Agustin Palomo Ramos, and Art Education Program. Another exciting event coming up is our trolley ride on April 30th at 9:30 AM. A suggested contribution of $3–$5 per child would be greatly appreciated, as this will go directly toward a tip for our wonderful driver, who provides this experience at no cost to us. I will be very happy to see all who are able to join us tomorrow evening at Odyssey in Bloom! Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
