Peaceful protest practice for the elementary students

Our 1/2 and 3/4 students have been exploring what it means to create a more fair and just world, starting right in the classroom. After reflecting on how we treat one another, students made signs and participated in a symbolic, age-appropriate protest on campus—using their voices to say that unkindness isn’t okay. At Odyssey, we’re teaching empathy, collective care, and the idea that peaceful protest is one way people express their values.
