Head of school update 11/16

Dear Odyssey Community,

Friday night we hosted over 250 middle school students at our Fall Ball. Students had a great time, we got to socialize with lots of students and staff from other independent schools, and every element of the food, decor, music, and student behavior was wonderful. We could not have done it without the tremendous support from so many parents. We have the best PTO on the planet! Thank you to our amazing President, Jen McGuire, and the many parents who volunteered! Also, we thank the staff and middle school student council members who helped make the event a success.

We have two important events happening this week:

We look forward to partying with families this Saturday at our Positively Grateful Chili Cookoff. Please see below for additional information about making a chili or dessert, or just joining us for fun and connection. 

We’re also in the middle of our Positively Grateful Food Drive, and we’re off to a good start! It’s essential that we collect as much as possible for Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church’s no-barrier food pantry. Please scroll down for the list and contribute what you can. We will collect donations all week, and accept them at the Chili Cookoff as well, then deliver everything to the church on Monday, November 24! **If your family would benefit from food assistance, we can help.
