Let’s take charge of our own fate, Overcome this aversion or fear to using 102 ingredients for one recipe, Become empowered gluten-free (and dairy-free if you wish) bakers, Learn the pancake recipe your kids will love, Eat pancakes for lunch, and SAVE MONEY.

Pamela’s gluten-free 4 serving pancake mix just became $8.00 bucks!!!

We all know what we have to do and we need the GROUP ENERGY to get us there.

MEET IN THE ODYSSEY KITCHEN SATURDAY FEBRUARY 16TH

BRING:

  • YOURSELVES,
  • YOUR KIDS AS TASTE TESTERS,
  • A FAVORITE SKILLET AND MIXING BOWL AND EXTRA MEASURING SPOONS
  • A GLUTEN-FREE PANCAKE RECIPE YOU’VE BEEN MEANING TO TRY WITH IT’S 102 INGREDIENTS

We will each pick a recipe and combine ingredients and start cooking. Kids can help mix or play in the gym until it’s time to taste-test. I will have several pancake recipes to attempt if you don’t bring one as well as Pamela’s as the base-line comparator.

Please join us from 10 AM – 12 PM on Friday, February 15 for an all -school celebration of love!

Family Karaoke

Also on Friday, February 15 from 6-7:30 PM: Family Karaoke at Odyssey! This is wonderful family fun, not available anywhere in Asheville except Odyssey! Family Karaoke is open to any child or adult, so invite your friends. Be sure to bring some money for pizza and drinks.

Asheville Chocolate & Arts Festival

 

Come on out and support this GREAT event!

On Saturday, December 8 from 12 to 7, this is your one-stop shop for chocolate tasting, entertainment, workshops, live entertainment, and shopping! Be sure to get there when doors open at noon, because our 4-5 Explorers will be performing.

10% of proceeds will go to Odyssey Community.

We have several opportunities to volunteer at this event as well. Hours will go towards service hours. Please contact April at aguse (at) odysseycommunity.org for tickets or volunteer opportunities.
