Re-Enrollment & Enrollment Applications are Due
It’s that time of year when families and educators begin planning for 2016-2017, and 2015-2016 has been a great year for Odyssey!
In our 9th year as a school, we have more students and more vibrant classrooms than ever before because of the strength of our community and its commitment to Odyssey’s mission: preparing students, families, and faculty to lead the 21st century with an authentic sense of self using the Integral Model and Design Thinking. We are really looking forward to celebrating a full decade of progressive education!
Our faculty continue to develop their leadership and hone best practices: In the fall, Prekindergarten Director Courtney Fincher won an award for her essay about professionalizing the field of early childhood education. This spring, several more of our faculty are working on professional development projects for publication. We’re so proud to continue to be on the forefront of the progressive education revolution.
And, of course, our students are at the heart of what makes this school so wonderful. When asked why they want to attend Odyssey, our students cite more reasons than we can name here: they want to have a voice in their own education; they enjoy the small class sizes; and they feel challenged to learn and do more. Then there is one reason that touches our hearts most of all: ‘Odyssey feels like family.’
We look forward to sharing another year together and welcoming new families into our community! Re-enrollment applications for current Odyssey families are due on March 1st, and new enrollment applications are due on March 7th.
