Kylie Hulver

Kylie Hulver Whole Child Summer Camp Counselor

Camp Counselor

Kylie has both worked and volunteered at summer camps since 2010, and is thrilled to be spending this summer at Odyssey! Although she started college as a design major, she quickly realized how much she missed the magic of working with kids. After a few changes in major, she earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from Ohio University. Kylie fell in love with Asheville a few years ago while working at a nearby camp for kids and teens who have Autism and ADHD, and is excited to finally call this city home.

Most of her time in college was spent leading self-development retreats, tutoring math, and playing ultimate frisbee. When she isn’t in the classroom or at camp, you can almost certainly find Kylie hiking, running, drawing, making jewelry, cooking with her friends, or stopping to swing on every playground she passes.

Odyssey School is an independent, non-profit school with a focus on whole child, emotionally intelligent, personalized curriculum for students in PreK-12.
