Founders’ Day: August 31st

Monarch Butterfly

Each year, we invite families to join us for our Founders’ Day celebration on the first day of school. We gather around the Sword in the Stone, weave natural objects into the Web of Life, sing together, and take our annual all-school and class photos!

Please be sure your student(s) bring a natural object (flowers, long grasses, leaves, vines, etc) with them to weave into the web. Choosing an object together is a great way to get ready for their first day. In addition, parents are welcome to join us for coffee in the Café between drop-off and the start of our celebration, which will run from 9:30-10:30.

Keep a look-out for our next newsletter (and be sure to add us to your safe/important contacts so as not to miss the news!) for drop-off procedures and other back-to-school details… See you soon!
