3rd Annual Pre-k Plant Start Farmers’ Market

Friday, April 26th, 8:30-9:30 am

The Pre-k kids will be out front selling tomato, pepper, & lettuce starts, & honey and eggs from the Jordan-Blackley Farm, Imladris Jams, bread from Annie’s Bakery, locally roasted coffee, sweet treats, 5th Sun products, and more.

The preschool teachers have been working on developing a garden curriculum that involves a Farmer’s Market component. The class dives into the theme during summer, but for the past few years have had a “Farmer’s Market” in the Spring. The Spring Market builds excitement for the summer curriculum and allows the class to raise some money for their garden needs. (They will have another later in the year to sell their harvests.) Please “save the date” for this fun event!
