Patricia Roskens

Music Teacher, PreK-12th Grade

Patricia Roskens is a music educator who has taught at international schools in Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Her teaching degrees are from Augustana College and Michigan State University.

She believes that music is a powerful connector; and that a multi-cultural approach helps students appreciate the diversity of the planet and realize their common ground. Her class at Odyssey will include vocal, instrumental, movement, composition, literature, and performance. Patricia also directs the Saluda Community Singers, does playshops with ElderMusie, and gives private piano lessons.

She enjoys traveling, swimming, cooking, and learning about sound as a healing modality. At present, she lives with her daughter and two grand daughters in the mountains near Saluda.

Preparing students, families, and educators to lead the 21st century with an authentic sense of self.
