On the evening of Wednesday, September 13th, Dr. Kelley Johnson will be offering an education night for parents who are interested in learning more about her 4th-12th grade curriculum for Sex Education at Odyssey.
We look forward to introducing you to Dr. Johnson to educate families, invite families into partnership in educating our students, and to answer any questions you might have! Dr. Johnson is offering this free evening event tonight at 6:30 for all interested Odyssey families.
We encourage you to attend to get more informed about the topics covered, strategies used, and professional approach Dr. Johnson takes in educating our students.

We are excited to see you on Friday, August 25th!
Our pool party is a great way to get your feet wet (pun intended) before the first day of school, meet your teachers, see old friends and make new ones. Faculty will make sure you get all the information you need to feel ready on Monday, August 28th, and there will be plenty of time to enjoy handmade pizza cooked in our student-made cob oven and swim in the pool!
Please remember to register so that we ensure we have enough pizza dough, and so that we know what toppings your family is planning to bring. The registration link was included in your Back to School newsletter, sent on August 8th. If you didn’t receive your newsletter, please let us know right away! You can also search your Promotions tab for the title: “Welcome Back to School! 💚 Odyssey School Supplies & News.”
Let’s go swimming!
We love celebrating intergenerational relationships, and every year we look forward to this celebration with our community elders – grandparents and other great, grand family members our students hold dear.
Please save the date for this day of shared stories, discovery, and play! Stay tuned for scheduling and other details as the day approaches!
Join us as we celebrate the first day of school, our founders, and Odyssey’s 10th birthday!
There will be light snacks and coffee in the cafe for parents and guests leading up to the celebration, and we have the honor of welcoming our beloved 2015 commencement speaker, Kat Williams, back to our campus for a Founders Day performance. Attendees will join our students in the traditional weaving of a natural object into the Web of Life, and kick off another wonderful academic year!
Looking forward to see you there,
Megan & Cory
RSVP Online or give us a call to let us know you plan to attend, if you need child care, and if you have any questions!
If your child is rising into a new classroom next year, this evening is for you!
Parents of rising K-9th grade students are invited into your next year’s classroom to enjoy a presentation about classroom culture and what to expect in your new grade level. Because we are a close-knit community, you may often see your next grade level teachers around the halls, but we encourage you to take this opportunity to get to know them better! You can ask questions, see learning artifacts, and experience a deeper view into your new teacher’s philosophy and style.
Please RSVP, especially if you plan to use childcare! As always, we plan very carefully for the number of children we expect to be in our care to ensure they have a safe and fun experience. Thank you for letting us know your plans!
Join us for our annual holiday performance & pot luck: The Festival of Light!
Our classrooms prepare unique and thematic artistic expressions of how we celebrate inner, natural, and poetic light in times of shortened days and the cold of winter. Following performances, we will celebrate the light in our community with a potluck and social gathering. We hope to see you there!
Save the date for November 15th and remember to RSVP for child care!
We are excited to welcome you back to campus for pizza, swimming, and fun!
Our Annual Community Pool & Pizza Party is a great way for old friends to reunite, to meet new friends, to enjoy our swimming pool, and to get ready for the first day of school! Some time will be just for play, and we will also spend some time together in our classroom communities so you feel all ready for that first day back.
We provide the dough, and we all potluck toppings, so please RSVP if you’re able to join us!
